The MenCare+ program is a three-year long program created to engage men ages 15-35 as partners in maternal and child health and in sexual and reproductive health and rights. The program has been implemented by Equimundo, Rutgers WPF, and other partner organizations in Brazil, Indonesia, Rwanda, and South Africa.
This document provides an overview of MenCare+ work in Brazil like the “Shameless Campaign” and “You are my Father,” which involved collaboration with the Brazilian government to promote sexual and reproductive health and rights, involved fatherhood, and other issues of gender equality.
