MenCare+ is an innovative, three-year, four-country collaboration between Rutgers and Equimundo, working with long-term national and regional partners with extensive local knowledge and expertise. In Brazil, Indonesia, Rwanda and South Africa, a range of gender-transformative strategies are being implemented to engage boys and men in addressing harmful attitudes about rigid gender norms and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
This advocacy brief provides policy recommendations for governments to integrate gender-transformative approaches to achieving gender equality and sustainable development.
