Middle East and North Africa

In the Middle East and North Africa, MenCare partners are engaging men as caregivers and as fathers through a variety of approaches, focusing on issues ranging from gender equality and violence prevention to masculinities and men’s health.

Notably, the 2019 MenCare Global Meeting will be located in Rabat, Morocco, hosted in partnership with MenCare partner Quartiers du Monde. The meeting will bring together partners from the Middle East and North Africa – and from countries across the world – to share best practices and evidence, develop a joint agenda to advance advocacy agendas, and discuss innovative ways to achieve shared goals around gender equality, equitable caregiving, and positive fatherhood.
