MenCare Georgia presents at Frankfurt International Book Fair

The MenCare Georgia campaign, which won first place in Emerging Europe’s 2018 Equality-Friendly Initiative of the Year contest, was invited to present at the Frankfurt International Book Fair, where Georgia was recognized as the Guest of Honor this year.  

MenCare Advocacy Learning Series: Private-sector engagement as a pathway for involved fatherhood in Turkey

For the past two decades, MenCare partner AÇEV in Turkey has been making strides to engage fathers to increase their role in their children’s lives, having identified fatherhood as an entry point for broader social change toward gender equality at home and at work. The organization’s efforts have followed three primary strategies: father-support programs, private-sector engagement, and evidence-based publications. 

MenCare campaign in Georgia wins Emerging Europe’s Equality-Friendly Initiative of the Year award

London-based think tank Emerging Europe awarded the MenCare campaign in Georgia first place in its Equality-Friendly Initiative of the Year 2018 contest in June. Part of the inaugural Emerging Europe Awards, the Equality-Friendly Initiative of the Year recognizes projects that teach tolerance and open-mindedness in Central and Eastern Europe, promoting social inclusion and equality for all people regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs.
