MenCare is pleased to welcome new partners to the global campaign, including the Il Giardino dei Padri fatherhood network in Italy, Equality Heals Africa in Uganda, and MERGE for Equality in the United States. The MenCare campaign is now active in 40+ countries around the world.
In June, the Fatherhood Institute published the 2016 edition of its Fairness in Families Index (FIFI), which compares developed countries’ progress towards gender equality across a variety of indicators.
A new documentary film from Brazil tells the stories of eight soon-to-be fathers. It details their experiences attempting to accompany their female partners – who wanted them present when giving birth – during labor and delivery.
