A NEW MILESTONE: This year marks 10 years since MenCare: A Global Fatherhood Campaign began. Launched in November of 2011, MenCare has grown and evolved throughout the years. Today, we want to learn how you think MenCare has done so far, how your organization has engaged with the global initiative, and what direction you would like to see MenCare take over the next 10 years. We have asked Nikki van der Gaag, Promundo Senior Fellow, to help collect your stories and hopes for the future of MenCare, and we hope that you will support us by participating. We will be sending you an email with a survey and a request for follow-up interviews – please watch out for it. Should you wish to be engaged further, and if you are interested in being contacted as part of this effort, please fill out this form with your information and we will follow up with you shortly.
This June, MenCare will release a COVID-19 special issue of the State of the World’s Fathers report: the world’s only global report on men’s involvement in parenting and care work, produced by Promundo. This issue will focus on action steps to help close the care gap – visit StateoftheWorldsFathers.org to learn more.
This MenCare newsletter brings you updates from Nigeria, Spain, and Switzerland. Learn more about the research, programs, and campaigns our partners are leading to engage men in fatherhood, caregiving, and gender equality worldwide.
Sincerely,
Aapta Garg & Mpho Mabhena
